How night vision looks

Building the effect
The scene is reduced to luminance, multiplied by a gain value to brighten shadows, tinted green with small red and blue components, then finished with sensor-like grain and edge vignetting. Higher gain reveals more detail but amplifies noise, just like the real thing.
